NANOCLEANER – Technology

The foundation stones for the innovative and integral cleaning concept from NANOVIS are a sound know-ledge of the three components Process, Cleaning Agent and Equipment. Only when these components are optimally harmonized with each other it is possible to achieve outstanding cleaning results and to reduce the burden on man and environment to a minimum.
The PLUS stands for the recycling system integrated into the equipment, which provides the cleaning agent with an unlimited time of use.
Optimized cleaning results with minimal energy consumption. A patented activation process effective on the nanoscale is utilized in the NANOCLEANER. Its task is to stimulate the cleaning substances which are resting in the cleaning agent so they can unfold their potential. By the purposeful supply of electric energy, these substances form highly effective, nano-sized particles. They remain active for few seconds, can penetrate the ink layer and separate it from the goods. The substances will return to their resting as their energy is dissipated.
The soiled parts are placed on a grid inside the cleaning tank. After starting the cleaning program, the activated cleaning agent is continuously sprayed through the rotating jet arms onto the parts to be cleaned.
The cleaning takes place in a closed loop under vacuum. This allows proper and efficient cleaning without health hazardous vapors. Therefore the NANOCLEANER can be installed directly in the production area next to the printing presses. This saves on parts transfer and additional ventilation is not necessary.
Specific cleaning agents, developed by NANOVIS, are used for the cleaning. They are particularly adapted to the equipment and the application, receiving their cleaning efficiency by electrical activation of the washing active substances.
As opposed to the widespread VOC-containing solvents, they offer fundamental advantages. In particular they have a high flashpoint, are environmentally sustainable and do not evaporate. Besides that, they do not lose their cleaning strength even after many years. Time-consuming maintenance work like the periodical replacement of the cleaning agent and its disposal is avoided.
The equipment is designed to be an optimal combination of process, cleaning agent and recycling system. To guarantee sustained quality standards, exclusively first class components and materials are installed. Thanks to the self-contained system operated under vacuum, the NANOCLEANER can on site be directly integrated into the production line. Together with the modest operating expenditures, very low operating costs are achieved
Parallel to the cleaning process, the reclaimed printing ink is constantly removed from the cleaning agent by using an adsorber in the integrated recycling system. In this way the cleaning agent is not wasted and can therefore be used over and over again for an unlimited time. From time to time the collected printing ink can be removed by hand from the recycling system in the form of a dry, solid cake, allowing a trouble free disposal.
